I have always felt that something was wrong with the world. I work hard, try to be a good person, and live a reasonable life with my family. dispite this, I always found myself worrying about things. How am I going to pay the bills? Is there going to be a world war? Are my children safe at school, and will they find good jobs when they grow up? How would my family survive if I were to die tonight?
I started writing a book about a perfect world; the world that I wanted to live in. A safe and comfortable world where everyone could live a pleasant and decent life. As I started writing though, I realized that I am not a "writer" and no publisher in her right mind would even look at my book. So, I considered e-publishing the book, but I still needed more details; I needed input from somebody to tell me what I was missing. I needed more ideas to round out the book.
As I mulled over the options one morning, while frivolously wasting many gallons of hot water in the shower, I had an idea. Why not ask YOU for help writing the book? YOU know what kind of world you would want to share!
And so, I started the One World Book Project, and YOU can help write vignettes, chapters, even suggest changes to what is already written.
